My point here is that we humans are primarily acts of imagination, images. And what is an image? Not only the depiction of something there on the canvas in oil paint. Or, put it my way, what we are really, and the reality we live, is our psychic reality, which is nothing but—get that demeaning nothing but— the poetic imagination going on day and night. Workshop Announcement

The UCD School of Philosophy and the International Centre for Newman Studies are pleased to announce an international workshop on Kant, Hegel, and the Embodiment of Pure Reason.

The event is organised by Dermot Moran and Elisa Magrì, and it will take place in the Iveagh Room of Newman House in Dublin on Tuesday 3rd May and Wednesday 4th May. The programme is available here.
